Notification alerts is a service where you will be informed of important transactions on your account. These alerts will be delivered to you via email and/or push notification.
You are advised to enrol for the Alert service to receive notifications for any transactions on your trading accounts. Learn more tips on how to protect yourself from unauthorised transactions.
You can choose which notifications you want to receive by logging into the DBS Vickers app or online trading platform.
DBS Vickers App
Navigate to “More” page > Select “Manage Notifications” to manage your preferences

Navigate to “My Profile” > Select “Manage Notifications” to manage your preferences
Push Notifications are alerts on your trading activity or promotions that will be sent to your DBS Vickers app.
These messages will be stored in your notification inbox for easy tracking and reference. Please go to your device settings to turn on notifications for DBS Vickers “mTrading” app in order to receive them.
You will be able to enjoy a secured trading experience at your fingertips and conveniently monitor your transactions through your notification inbox.
You can also monitor your account closely for any fraudulent transactions.
Effective September 2023, you will be prompted to register for push notifications when you log in to the DBS Vickers app for the first time after its launch. Thereafter, you can manage your notification preferences anytime via the app or online trading platform.
On your phone device, you will need to allow notifications for “mTrading” app to receive push notifications:
- Go to Settings on your mobile device
- Select Notifications
- Select mTrading app
- Click on Allow Notifications
You will receive push notifications for services that you have selected under “Manage Notifications” via your inbox, instead of SMS.
You will need to also allow notifications for mTrading app on your device to receive push notifications.
No, once you have registered for Push Notification, the primary channels of communication will be email and/or push notification only.
Each trading account can only be registered to one device at any one point in time. If you wish to switch to another device, you will prompted to de-register from your initial device when you log in to mTrading app via your new device.
Yes, you will need to download the DBS Vickers app that will be released in September 2023 to be able to receive Push Notifications.
